Job Description:
Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Enfield, North London (2 days WFH)
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 + benefits
Our client is a national property management group, based in north London. Due to the continued growth of the company, they are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the expanding Finance team.
Responsibilities:
*Process supplier invoices, payroll and employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
*Monthly client reporting
*Quarterly client reporting
*Bank reconciliations for year-end accounts.
*Assist with finalising bank reconciliations as required
*Provision of accurate, timely and effective accounting information to all parties
*Liaison with Property Managers on accounting matters
*Liaison with different sections within the accounts department
*Ensuring the integrity of accounting records and controls in line with prevailing legislation
*Posting items on the management system (omissions & corrections) when reconciling service charge accounts
*Posting Accruals and Prepayments on system
Role Requirements
*At least 18 months’ of accounting experience and ideally studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA
*Property Management knowledge is desirable
*Good written and verbal communication skills and be well presented with a professional appearance.
*Good organisational skills and are willing to be flexible and assist with a variety of different tasks within the department.
