Key Responsibilities *Provide first aid and medical support to students, staff, and visitors, ensuring timely and effective responses to medical incidents.
*Manage and administer medication safely in line with school policy and individual care plans.
*Collaborate closely with teaching staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support for each student’s medical needs.
*Maintain accurate medical records, care plans, and incident reports, ensuring strict confidentiality.
*Support the school’s safeguarding and health policies, creating a safe, nurturing environment for all students.
What We’re Looking For *Qualifications: A relevant medical qualification (e.g., First Aid, Nursing, or equivalent experience) is essential.
*Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or educational setting.
*Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a caring, empathetic approach. An understanding of SEN needs and medical protocols is highly desirable.
*Flexibility: Ability to remain calm and effective in urgent situations, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
