Job Description:
Our client, a boutique asset manager known for exceptional fund performance, is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Officer to support the daily responsibilities of the Investment Operations department and oversee outsourced functions.
Responsibilities:
*Oversee outsourced functions, namely Custody, Middle Office, Back Office, Banking.
*Manage the full end to end trade lifecycle with a focus on equities.
*Onboard clients/new accounts and maintain operational checklists and procedures.
*Resolve issues with external suppliers and prepare Management Information.
*Administer users of key systems.
*Escalate risks and exceptions, generate business requirements documentation, and assist team members.
*Undertake projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Experience:
The ideal candidatewill have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and theability to multitask and prioritise. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in asimilar Investment Operations role within financialservices is required. Good demonstrable experience of managing custody relationships and the full end to end tradelifecycles, with particular knowledge around equity is required. Knowledge around fixedincome and derivatives would also be an advantage.
