About the Client
Our client based in Southeast London with over 25 years of expertise, specializes in Mechanical Installation and Maintenance Services, offering comprehensive heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and ventilation solutions, while prioritizing integrity, client satisfaction, and employee development.
About the role:
*Perform planned maintenance and servicing of commercial and domestic combustion appliances, including boilers, water heaters, and some HVAC systems.
*Install and replace HVAC equipment and associated pipework as part of small works projects.
*Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in various heating systems.
*Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas appliances, heating systems, and plant rooms to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry regulations .
*Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (currently 1 in 6 weeks, including weekdays and weekends).
*Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas appliances, heating systems, and plant rooms to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry regulations
*Complete job reports, certification, and maintenance logs accurately and promptly, ensuring all paperwork is kept up-to-date.
About the Candidate:
*Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial and domestic heating systems, including HVAC equipment.
*Essential: Commercial Gas Safe certification and COCN1 or CODCN1 qualifications.
*Strong understanding of plumbing and pipework installation processes.
*Solid knowledge of heating systems within both residential and commercial environments.
*Experience in writing Risk Assessments (RAMS) and Safe Systems of Work.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel.
*Enhanced DBS check required for work in schools and colleges.
