Job Description:
Your new company
My client is a relationship-driven medium-sized firm, which has grown significantly in the last 3 years and has better profitability than most firms in the UK (of any size). Their culture, values and model for profitability are both attractive and refreshing and, with PE backing and the right growth recipe, they have some amazing opportunities for future leaders.
Your new role
As a result of growth, there is an opportunity for a personable client-facing employment tax professional to work closely with the Employment Tax Partners and wider team. You will be supported and mentored on all aspects of what it takes to advance your career, including client relationships, technical and internal responsibilities.
They punch well above their weight with their client-base and this continues to grow (with work predominantly coming via referrals). Your role will be to advise on and provide support in relation to National Minimum Wage and employment-related taxes including:
*Pay As You Earn and National Insurance Contributions
*IR35, the new Off-Payroll rules, and Personal Service Companies
*Expenses for temps and permanent staff
*Staff benefits and related returns (P11Ds and PSAs)
*Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
*Employment status
*HMRC Employer Compliance Reviews and enquiries
*Employment tax health checks - regularly working with recruitment agencies to ensure compliance, mitigate and protect against risks and minimise costs in relation to their temporary workers
What you’ll need to succeed
This Firm is looking for an Employment Taxes professional with sound knowledge of employment taxes and relevant practical implications. With excellent communication skills and commercial acumen in relation to client requirements and problem-solving. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be happy to supervise and train more junior team members.
What you’ll get in return
They offer a very flexible, hybrid working model with a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
