Job Purpose *Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory and planning services
*Preparation of personal tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and individuals with rental income
*Preparation of capital gains tax computations within self-assessment returns
*Preparation of P11D and P11D(b) forms
*Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements, liaising directly with them on clients’ behalf
*Work closely with Senior Managers and Partners to ensure service excellence across the team
*Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
*Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
*Mentor and guide junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
*Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements *ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
*Proven track record of working in a tax role within UK practice
*Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
*Excellent understanding of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
*Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues
*Well organised and confident managing own workload autonomously
*Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines, budgets and targets
*Self-motivated, professional and reliable
*Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
*An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
