Brother International Europe (BIE) is the European hosting company for Brother in Europe, based in Manchester, UK and part of the global Brother Group. Since the 1950s Brother has built a strong presence in Europe. BIE has sales offices or representatives in 23 European countries, a central sewing machine HQ for Europe based in Germany, and production facilities in the UK and Slovakia, with a workforce of over 1,300 people.
The role of BIE is to provide product intelligence and centralised support to each of these European operations.
Salary - £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, dependant on experience at employers discretion.
Overview:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a Data Analyst - Level 4 Apprenticeship.
Purpose & Main Function of the Position:
To provide effective business support for the L&M department, Japan HQ and Local sales offices though analysing internal and external sales data and assisting through department administration.
Duties (include but not limited to):
*Mass deal coordination and monitoring price support
*Product development sales analysis
*Production and stock analysis
*To support the budget process through Quarterly supplies forecast support, preparing and updating Target sheets, uploading data to SAP and performing data validation checks and investigation.
*To monitor Brother and 3rd party supplies sales and print volume trends through market data and App logs providing analysis to Labelling Management.
*Establish KPI reports for Local offices and Labelling Management to monitor and drive relevant behaviour in key strategic areas.
*Prepare and update monthly sales reporting in Excel and price support administration.
What we are looking for:
Experience
*Strong Excel skills are essential.
*Ability to manipulate large data sets, create visualisations, reports and present findings in clear and concise manner.
*Understanding of technical platforms
Key Competencies
*Using knowledge of competitors and their products and services to gain an organizational advantage
*Understanding and using the workings, structure, climate and culture of the organization to achieve results.
Entry Requirements:
Standard Entry:
*Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
*OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus:
*5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
*Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
