Our client an established and welcoming nursery school in West Moors, Ferndown are seeking a dedicated a Nursery Practitioner to join their professional and friendly team.
The Nursery is part of a larger group of nurseries with two other settings in the local area so there is opportunity for career progression within the organisation. The nursery itself offers excellent rates of pay and fantastic staff benefits and incentives including a 4 day working week! Perfect for the work life balance!
Your role:
- Maintain a high quality and stimulating environment for the children.
- Communicate effectively with the children, parents and staff.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality childcare and educational programmes.
-Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on their child’s development
About you:-
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working within early childhood education, as well as strong leadership skills.
Qualifications & Experience:-
- Early Years qualification - minimum Level 3.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
