Senior ProcurementManager, Greater London (West), £65K + Benefits, Permanent
Your new company
You will be workingfor a Global FMCG Company based in Greater London, who are on a growth mission,whilst driving sustainability goals, leading the way in their market. Thiscompany operates in over 90 countries worldwide, making this an exciting global opportunity.
Your new role
You will be reportinginto the CFO, supporting their procurement needs by managing the procurementfunction, with one individual reporting into you. As this company continues togrow, their need to manage indirect spend has become vital to the success ofthe business.
You will beresponsible for
You will be managingkey buying categories whilst reviewing and approving all purchase requisitionsacross the business. You will lead all sourcing activities and tenderprocesses, targeting cost saving in line with businesses’ KPIs. You will bebuilding and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders,whilst defining the strategy goals for other categories via the line managementof the junior procurement manager. You will be the key point of contact for theprocurement function, able to support the CFO with additional procurementproject when they arise.
What you’ll need to succeed
Youwill have experience working within indirect Procurement, with experience inthe marketing & event categories. You will be fluent in English withexcellent communication skills,both written and verbal. You will have proven business partnering experiencewith commercial awareness and a customer focus and a confident and positiveattitude, ability to challenge conventional thinking. You will have a good workingknowledge of Office and ideally, good working knowledge of SAP orunderstanding of the principles of purchase requests.
What you’ll get in return
You will be entitledto a base salary of £65,000 p/a as well as a range of other benefits such asbonus and private healthcare. You will work in Greater London with 3 days inthe office a week.
