Are you a Music specialist seeking a long-term role starting in January 2025?
Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wigan who are seeking a Music Teacher for a long-term position starting on Monday 6th January. This post will continue until July 2025 covering a vacant position and could lead to a permanent position. Our client school are seeking a Music Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.
The successful Music Teacher will be joining a department dedicated to nurturing students’ creativity and musical abilities by providing a supportive learning environment that encourages risk-taking and collaboration. Students are exposed to a diverse range of musical styles, cultures, and historical periods, and are encouraged to explore their own artistic interests through the use of their voices and a variety of instruments.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this Music Teacher position based in Wigan the essentials are:
*QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
*Experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
*Knowledge of the Music AQA syllabus would be advantageous
*Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
*Legal right to work in the UK
*Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
