Job Description:
Civil Litigation Solicitor, 2+ PQE, Greater Manchester, £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE). A thriving firm in the Northwest is seeking an experienced solicitor to undertake a duty solicitor role at the County Court. The appointed solicitor will manage a diverse caseload of housing claims, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements. Responsibilities include conducting detailed investigations into disrepair issues, gathering evidence, and coordinating with clients, witnesses, and expert consultants. You will also be responsible for maintaining precise records of case progress and client communications within the firms’ case management system.
THE CANDIDATE:
The firm are seeking a qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in housing law or related fields. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing disrepair cases, along with a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and case law.
