This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to join one of the world leading leisure and manufacturing brands. They are looking for a Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to take care of their facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
*Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
*Performing preventative maintenance.
*Carry out heavy cleansing tasks (Floor buffing)
*Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
*Carrying out maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
*Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include painting, repairing doors and other building fixtures.
*Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
*Minor plumbing and carpentry
*Clearing or cleaning general areas
*Shifting furniture or equipment
*Make adjustments and minor repairs
*Cooperate with the rest of the staff and provide assistance to co-workers when needed
*Follow all health and safety regulations
*Performs additional duties as needed.
*Adhere to company policies
*Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities
Requirements and skills
*Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
*Proven maintenance experience.
*Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
*Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
*Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
*Experience performing routine maintenance.
*Own car and driving license
*Strong organisational and follow up skills.
*Eye for detail.
*Professional presentation and attitude.
*Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
*Strong time management skills.
