Job Description:
Office Administrator
Full-Time, Permanent
£22,300 PA
Are you super-organised, enthusiastic, and ready to dive into a variety of tasks? I’m recruiting for a small but growing local business that’s looking for a flexible **Office Administrator** to help keep things ticking over. They’re after someone who’s happy to jump in wherever needed, bringing a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
This isn’t your standard office admin role - every day is different, and you’ll be a valued part of shaping how they work as they grow. The team is supportive, and there’s lots of room to learn, develop, and make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*You’ll be the go-to person for all things admin, handling a range of duties that change as the business grows. If you love variety and enjoy a hands-on role, this might be perfect for you. Here’s a flavour of what you’d be doing:
*Filing, sorting paperwork, and keeping things in order
*Answering calls and emails, chatting with customers and helping with enquiries
*Keeping production numbers up-to-date
*Making sure recipes meet all the accreditation standards
*Raising purchase orders and ordering supplies
*Creating product labels (don’t worry, they’ll show you how!)
*Checking shelf-life on biscuits - a bit of quality control!
*Keeping the office well-stocked with all the essentials
*The fun bit! Opportunity to attend events like Crufts if you’re a dog lover
About You:
The business isn’t necessarily looking for tons of experience; this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into their first admin role and learn on the job or someone seeking a relaxed administrative role with lots of variation. The main thing they’re after is someone who will be a great fit for their friendly, close-knit team.
You’d be a great match if you are:
*Super organised and love keeping things on track
*Friendly, flexible, and ready to switch gears when needed
*Comfortable chatting with customers and handling basic admin tasks
*Eager to learn and open to trying new things
*Maybe even a bit of a dog lover (you’ll have the chance to attend dog events!)
Please be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled. Interviews will take place throughout this period, therefore we encourage you to apply early to avoid disappointment.
