We are looking for a proactive Import Logistics Executive with experience of all modes of transport to enhance our busy team.
Hours:
*Monday to Friday 0900-1700hrs
*Salary: £30-£35,000 dependant on experience
Role requirements for an Import Logistics Specialist:
*Proven successful track record of at least two years working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder
*Experience of CNS and Destin8. Our forwarding software is Multi-freight
*Strong attention to detail
*Good communication skills and friendly personality
*Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
*Strong and dynamic team player
*Excellent Maths and English skills
Job responsibilities and tasks - Import Logistics Specialist
*Communicating with various customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors such as shipping lines, hauliers and depots
*Raising internal files
*Raising Invoices
*Passing supplier invoices and querying where necessary
*Checking vessel arrivals
*Arranging collections and deliveries, making sure to meet customer deadlines
*Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out if there is anything else that we could look after for them
