Job Description:
As a Trainee HSE Advisor, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients HSE team to implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standards across their sites. You will receive on-the-job training, mentoring, and support to develop your skills and knowledge in health, safety, and environmental management.
You will be involved in carrying out safety audits, risk assessments, accident investigations, and delivering training to employees. You’ll help ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and actively contribute to creating a safer work environment.
Key Responsibilities: *Assist in the implementation of the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
*Support HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
*Help investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
*Assist in developing and delivering HSE training to employees.
*Monitor safety compliance and help ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
*Maintain accurate records of safety-related data and reports.
*Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks to raise awareness and promote a safety-first culture.
*Provide support in the continuous improvement of the company’s health, safety, and environmental systems.
Key Requirements: *A passion for health, safety, and environmental management.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Attention to detail with the ability to identify risks and hazards.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
*A willingness to learn and develop your skills in HSE.
*Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate) or a commitment to obtaining them is a plus.
