Job Description:
In this role you will help us to succeed by:
*Compliance
Health and Safety
*Comply with all Company and Health & Safety Regulations and Procedures.
*Ensure that the production and surrounding areas are at the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
*Ensure full compliance with Food Hygiene and HAACP requirements.
Environmental
*Comply with all Company Environmental Objectives.
*Carry out factory tours to raise awareness of potential Health & Safety issues.
*Service Level
*Ensure all products are packed to required quality standards (to customer specifications).
*Ensure all products are delivered in full and on time.
*Ensure the communication of daily plans to the teams and that targets are SMART.
*Important issues or concerns about Service Levels should be escalated to the Site Manager
3.Continuous Improvements
*Review and optimise room efficiency.
*Escalate all issues and roadblocks that prevent working practices to the Site Manager.
*Regularly review arrangements and operations to optimise production.
*Present ideas and efficiencies to the Site Manager and promote continuous improvement with Line Leaders. Monthly report to the Manager & Operations Manager on site performance and improvement plans.
*Ensure Line Leaders are using SAP/ MIMO correctly and carry out any necessary tasks in relation to SAP and other required KPI Reporting methods in line with operational OGSM.
*Lead to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness through:
*Arrange and chair end-of-day meetings.
*Fully understand and ensure that the teams fully understand what targets they are measured against.
*Leading and managing line leaders to achieve success and excellence.
*Plan resources to ensure the correct numbers of line leaders and operatives to satisfy customer demand.
*Ensure stock rotation is in place and that line leaders operate this efficiently and effectively.
*Liaise without-loading on requirements.
*Liaise with the supply chain on stock availability.
*Liaise with production regarding product quality.
*Ensure that visitors to the Pack House are signed in and out and always accompanied and that their experience of the Pack House is well-received.
6.Production yields
*Overseeing lines SIC.
*Ensure that all stock is always fully accounted for and traceable through all processes back to origin.
7.Paperwork
*Preparing EOD/EOW reports promptly.
*Ensure the accuracy of all production and line leader paperwork.
8.Machinery
*Ensure Line Leaders carry out routine maintenance and report any issues/faults to the Site Manager, completing any necessary paperwork. Ensure that faulty equipment and machinery are removed from service.
*Review Line Leader machinery inspection reports.

*To learn all areas of the Pack House function as detailed above.
*Be able to communicate effectively with all staff at all levels.
*Ability to interpret product and customer requirements.
*Ability to make logical decisions.
*To be able to prioritise workload effectively.
*Must be able to work on their initiative and as part of a team.
*To check and record people’s performance and attendance.
*To train and develop staff to enable cover in the Line leader’s absence.
*To lead daily production meetings about your area.
*Line balancing to ensure maximum availability of resources on shift
