The Business Analyst position is crucial, acting as a vital link between the organisation’s IT capabilities and its business objectives. This role involves conducting comprehensive data analysis and interpretation to generate actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and improve operational processes.
Your Mission at Elis Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and translate them into detailed business requirements.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret extensive datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can enhance operations.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose effective solutions for optimization.
Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation, encompassing business requirements, process maps, and user stories.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between departments and support teams to ensure alignment of objectives.
Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered on schedule and within budget constraints.
Testing and Validation: Conduct user acceptance testing to verify that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
What will make you stand out? Knowledge and Skills
Technical Skills: Proficiency and experience in SAP are essential. Knowledge and experience in other CRM products (such as SAP-based CRM products, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and Customer Data Management (CDM) solutions are highly desirable.
Customer Data Governance: Highly desirable.
Business Requirements: Ability to capture business requirements, create user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
Process Design and Improvement: Capable of designing and improving processes.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills with both IT and business stakeholders; proven experience in bridging the gap between the two parties.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and analysis.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments.
Education/Experience
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the service industry.
Certifications: Business Analyst credentials are highly desirable.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency with specific software/tools pertinent to the business’s needs.
