Job Description:
*Position: Laboratory Engineer
*Salary: £25,000
*Location: Lancing
*Hours: 37.5 hours a week between Monday and Friday (4 day week)
*4 weeks annual leave + closed over Christmas and new year, free onsite parking, 4 day working week
We are recruiting for an Engineer with a science related degree and a strong interest in science to join a manufacturing company where you’ll need previous laboratory experience or experience assembling laboratory equipment. In this role, you will work with silicon and diamond processing, ensuring a high quality, clean room environment. The ideal candidate will have previous laboratory experience and a relevant qualification in Science.
As a Laboratory Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
*Silicon and Diamond detector processing by using wet bench, furnaces and mask aligners
*Diamond and silicon quality inspection
*Understanding and following design drawings and processing documents
*Maintaining a clean, safe and healthy working environment
*Ensuring all parts, labour and processes progress on schedule to meet customer expectations
Requirements:
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
*Previous laboratory experience
*A degree in Science or equivalent (desired not essential)

This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours a week on a 4 day working week between Monday & Friday on an annual salary of £25,000.
