Operating from Fosdyke, Lincolnshire, we manage a vast farming operation and maintain joint ventures in fresh produce. We package fresh, wholehead vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our site in Fosdyke, working 18:00 - 06:00 on a 223 shift pattern.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of engineering services and technical support to the business, with focus on reducing downtime proactively using the sites PM software.
Duties to include:
*The execution of day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements
*The provision and implementation of solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime
*Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance
*Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as and when required
*Continually drive towards a PPM culture
*To assist in setting of machines in conjunction with the operations team
*The provision of a first-class engineering service
*Providing daily progress updates to the Site engineering lead
*Working together with internal and external teams
*Compliance with all health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards
*Communicate effectively with engineering stores, on parts used, to maintain the restock cycle
*Work alongside production with a "one team" mindset

Minimum skills / experience
*Time served apprenticeship
*Electrical qualifications from a recognised body
*Mechanical qualifications from a recognised body
*NVQ level 3 or BTEC L3 or equivalent
*Electrical fault-finding skills
*Logic Control experience (desirable)
