Crowe Watson is delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Semi Senior on behalf of a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and two from home for full-time employees, core hours of 10am to 4pm, and flexibility around start and finish times. As an Accounts Semi Senior, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial services, working across a varied client base in both the public and private sectors. You will be involved in preparing financial statements, supporting the production of management accounts, and assisting with VAT returns. This position will allow you to deepen your expertise while collaborating with senior colleagues and clients, giving you exposure to diverse areas within accountancy and the chance to take on more complex tasks as your experience grows.

Key Responsibilities
*Prepare financial statements in accordance with UK standards
*Support the production of management accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing queries and financial concerns
*Assist senior team members with complex financial projects and analyses
*Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
Requirements *Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Studying towards ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent, or qualified by experience
*Solid understanding of accounting principles and UK regulations
*Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
*Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
