Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Education lessons to Key Stages 3 & 4 fostering a deeper understanding of diverse beliefs and ethical values.
*Develop lesson plans that cater to a wide range of abilities, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to inspire and engage students.
*Promote and support the school’s ethos by encouraging respect and understanding among students.
*Participate in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development.
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their potential.
*Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support students’ academic and personal growth.
About You
*Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
*Experience: Previous experience as a Religious Education Teacher at the secondary level is preferred.
*Skills: *Strong knowledge of diverse religious, ethical, and philosophical topics.
*Ability to engage and inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities.
*Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
