Job Description:
Our client, a successful independent Estate Agency in St Albans require a knowledgeable and experienced Block Manager to manage a portfolio of residential blocks in St Albans. The successful candidate will ensure the properties are well-maintained, while building strong relationships with residents, contractors, and stakeholders. This role requires excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of property management and relevant legislation.
Requirements for the role of Block Manager
*Proven experience in block or property management, particularly in residential settings.
*Strong understanding of property management legislation, health and safety regulations, and leasehold management.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.
*Competence in managing budgets and preparing financial reports.
*Skilled in property management software and Microsoft Office.
*Proactive in resolving issues and complaints.
*Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
*Qualifications for Block Manager:
*IRPM or RICS qualifications (or progress towards them).
*Familiarity with insurance claims and renewals, as well as property management software (e.g., Blocks Online).
