Your new job working as a Senior Corporate Account Handler will be working in the Corporate Commercial department for a Lloyd’s Broker who have been established for over 50 years. Your new Brokers have offices in over 100 countries and currently collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 18,000 employees. You will be joining a large team of 28 that is split into smaller teams who love to collaborate and support one another and celebrate each other’s successes. Due to growth within their City based Corporate Commercial team a permanent job for a Senior Corporate Account Handler has arisen with the option of hybrid working.?
Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Corporate Account Handler means you will be liaising with Account Executives and client Directors to help their team deliver excellent service for customer insurance needs. This includes handling renewals, mid-term changes, and providing professional advice to corporate clients. You will be responsible for acquiring renewal terms and deliver or assist in presenting to the client, undertake market exercise to establish the most competitive terms available and issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty. Liaise with the Client Director/Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal, attend client meetings and undertake market exercise to establish the most competitive terms available. Other duties will include producing any documentation and make sure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover. Use of Acturis daily
What you’ll need to succeed
Your experience working as an Account handler dealing with Corporate risks with working knowledge of all main classes of General Insurance as well as
Commercial insurance experience will contribute to your success in securing this role.
You will be confident and have good attention to detail, as well as having good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook E-mail systems and be able to process work quickly and meet deadlines. You will need excellent client service skills with the ability to gather and analyse information from the client and able to persuade and influence others. Prior knowledge/experience of the Acturis computer system would be preferable. It would also be desirable for the successful candidate to be CERT CII or DIP CII qualified or equivalent or have evidence to show they are making good progress towards it and or be willing to progress towards professional qualifications.
