Job Title: On-Site Support Engineer - Construction
Location: North England, with travel between Birmingham, Newcastle, and potentially Scotland
Salary: £37,500 plus up to £6,000 bonus

Parkside Recruitment are currently seeking a On-Site Support Engineer to join their clients team.
About:
In this role, you’ll deliver technical and on-site support across the North, covering areas from Birmingham to Newcastle ands when, if needed into Scotland.
Working from home, you will be the main point of contact for clients in this region, traveling as needed and engaging with our Technical Engineer and Engineering Support Team to make sure that clients receive expert guidance on product specifications, installation, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Technical Support:
*Provide consultations on correct specification and use of our clients products during site visits.
*Conduct on-site testing of anchor solutions to meet required standards.
*Lead installation training for on-site teams, ensuring safe and effective product use.
*Maintain site records and produce reports in an organised and timely manner.
Promote our client’s Technical Services:
*Establish and maintain working relationships with contractors, engineers, and other site personnel.
*Provide ongoing technical support to distributors and sales teams.
*Collaborate with technical teams focused on passive fire protection, façade, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) support systems.
*Support the technical helpline when requiring, offering accurate assistance.
Product Specification and Training Support:
*Partner with project engineers to identify potential clients and product specification opportunities.
*Deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars on topics related to our clients products, including introductory sessions on heavy-duty anchors.
*Share new project specification leads with relevant colleagues to support business development.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education Requirements:
*HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
*New graduates with the right background are encouraged to apply.
Interpersonal Skills:
*Self-driven, organised, and dependable, with a strong focus on customer service.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and colleagues at all levels.
*A proactive team player who can effectively support and collaborate with others.
Experience and Product Knowledge:
*Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
*Knowledge of our products and applications is beneficial, but comprehensive training will be provided.
