Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a large listed business. This role offers excellent career progression and hybrid working options. Based at their impressive head office in Slough, this is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to gain exposure to senior stakeholders within the Group Division.
Responsibilities:
*Previous experience of managing the Group Audit.
*Perform the group consolidation and produce consolidated financial statements at year end.
*Prepare subsidiary financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
*Manage external auditors to ensure a smooth year end audit process.
*Produce technical accounting papers to support complex queries as they arise, including management papers for the year end audit.
*Maintain the Group Accounting Manual, ensuring the accounting policies are reflected in group reporting and kept up to date for new accounting developments.
*Support the implementation of the new financial reporting system.
*Adhoc support as required by the Group Finance Director
Requirements:
*Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Relevant prior experience of statutory accounts within a Group function
*Excellent knowledge of IFRS.
