Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Timber and Joinery

Industry Sector: Timber, Joinery, Stairs, Doors, Floors, UK Residential House Building and Construction; Regional House Builders, National House Builders
Area to be covered: North (M62 corridor)
Remuneration: £45,000- £50,000. + £5,000-£10,000 Bonus
Benefits: Car allowance or hybrid car and corporate benefits package

The role of the House Builder Area Sales Manager for Timber and Joinery will involve:
*Field sales role selling a manufactured range of timber for staircases, floors and doors
*Selling into national housebuilders at head office level
*You will inherit a mature area with £10million turnover
*80% account management, 20% new business development
*70% on the road visiting national housebuilders conducting site visits, 30% dealing with customer service teams at head office
*Working autonomously with a well-established customer base
*You will be required to increase the customer base and hit turnover and margin targets in line with company strategy
*Covering and area from Stoke-on-Trent to the Scottish border
The ideal applicant will be a House Builder Area Sales Manager for Timber and Joinery with:
*Must have sold to national housebuilders
*Ideally sold timber or joinery associated products, however our client is open to most building products
*Fire in the belly
*Dynamic personality
*Ideally some structured sales training
*Proven track record of field sales success within the construction industry
*Business and computer acumen
*Presentation skills
