Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
*Perform a variety of complex skilled tasks to assist in the daily running and preventative maintenance of the production equipment, have ownership small projects.
*Perform mechanical skills to diagnose faults and repair including but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, to production machines.
*Perform electrical skills to diagnose faults and repair, upgrades to machines and facilities.
*Read & interpret equipment manuals & work orders to perform required maintenance and service plans.
*Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
*Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
*Assist in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including developing planned and preventative maintenance and complete work status feedback.
*Use of own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support

Maintenance Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
*Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience
*Engineering Qualifications - HNC / NVQ / C&G, 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations
*Fault Finding Ability Both Mechanically & Electrically
*Experience of performing Maintenance Engineering within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.
*Read and understand electrical drawings
*Competent in interpreting blueprints, sketches, diagrams, operating instructions, manuals, specifications, and correspondence.
