Shared Ownership Officer
Borough, London
£30,000 - £38,000 depending on experience + discretionary bonus other bens
Our market-leading client is looking to secure the services of a new Shared Ownership Officer. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Shared Ownership Officer will be responsible for delivering a responsive and pro-active service to our new and existing Shared Ownership customers. The role covers a wide range of areas from issues and lease extensions through to property management, staircasing, arrears and re mortgage applications.
As the a Shared Ownership Officer you will also be responsible for:
*Customer Service: Provide a customer-focused service in line with Sparrow’s standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring homeowner queries and issues are resolved promptly and effectively
*Property and Budget Management: Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and budget management to ensure high standards and value for money
*Contractual and Financial Administration: Administer leases, shared ownership rents, and manage service charge accounts, ensuring compliance and accurate financial processing
Skills & experience required of the Shared Ownership Officer role:
*Experience in leasehold and property management is essential
*Experience in resales, staircasing, repairs and arrears is highly desirable.
*Organised and efficient
*Self-driven, accountable and embrace change and opportunity
*Have a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and develop
*Pro-active and take a creative approach to relationship-building and problem solving
*Strong communicator
*Decisive whilst working in a fast-paced environment
*Have a natural customer focus in all that you do
*Able to display solid IT skills
