Traffic Manager needed in South East London paying £30.06 per hr ref 1402567
Full time hours on a temporary basis
* Provide and manage the design, build, and maintenance services for highways infrastructure in alignment with corporate plans and regulations.
* Ensure compliance with Construction, Design and Management (CDM) 2015 regulations and Health and Safety at Work requirements regarding contracts and contractors on site.
* Undertake the design of engineering works, identifying technical options while adhering to contract specifications and the latest engineering developments.
* Offer design assistance and advice to junior team members.
* Organize surveys, site inspections, and data capture exercises to evaluate and monitor asset and stock conditions, providing technical guidance based on findings.
* Manage and monitor assigned revenue and capital budgets, preparing management reports that detail costs, commitments, and projections.
* Prepare reports, briefings, and communications for stakeholders regarding highway projects and infrastructure.
* Oversee asset inventory management, including attributes, condition, and valuations, in accordance with established codes of practice.
* Plan and deliver quality checks related to services, ensuring compliance with quality management frameworks and contract specifications, including the review of consultant and contractor designs.
* Operate various engineering software for design, construction, project management, and asset inventories.
* Manage and supervise technical staff and additional agency staff/consultants as needed on a project basis, and deputize for the line manager when required.
