Our client, a Global Bank, are looking for a Legal Counsel - Retail Banking AVP to join their Legal team based in London.

Responsibilities below:
*Subject matter lead on all retail matters and all retail products and all the Branch network within the UK, including residential and buy-to-let mortgages, credit cards, and savings accounts
*Subject matter lead on Consumer Duty and attending relevant meetings, and liaising with all key stakeholders including Compliance
*Advise on corporate transactions
*Provide sound legal advice and support to the various departments and stakeholders in the Bank, including senior management, relating to retail matters
*Identify need for external counsel where appropriate and allocating work accordingly between in-house and external lawyers, ensuring cost effectiveness

Previous experience within Legal and Retail Banking is preferred.
