Job Description:
Concierge - Private Building, Hackney London
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: £26,000 per annum
About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are hiring a proactive and customer-focused Concierge for a private building in London Fields. This is a self-managed position requiring excellent customer service and security skills. The role involves managing the front desk, ensuring building security, and assisting with daily operations to maintain a smooth and safe living environment.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Reception:
*Greet residents, guests, and visitors, providing assistance and answering queries.
*Handle complaints professionally and ensure a high level of service.
*Assist with luggage, parcels, and deliveries as needed.
*Manage visitor access, issue keys/fobs, and maintain accurate records.
Security & Site Management:
*Monitor building security, conduct regular patrols, and check CCTV.
*Address safety hazards or security breaches and report incidents.
*Oversee storage spaces, cleanliness, and organise rubbish collection.
*Ensure adherence to health & safety standards, and manage emergencies.
Team Collaboration & Reporting:
*Liaise with team members and conduct shift handovers.
*Communicate important updates to the team and suggest improvements.
*Assist with managing temporary staff cover and liaise with the managing agent.
Requirements: *Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Proactive, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
*Previous experience in concierge or building management is preferred.
