Location: Gateshead & Peterlee
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: £45,000 + KPI Bonus
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Direct Reports: 4 x Warehouse Managers

The Role As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of all warehouse and fulfilment activities, focusing on service delivery, staff performance, and process optimization. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll play a key role in meeting strategic objectives and maintaining the highest standards of operational performance.
Key Responsibilities *Leadership: Lead and manage operational teams, including 4 Warehouse Managers, to align with company goals.
*Efficiency & Process Improvement: Continuously drive improvements in warehouse and fulfilment operations, enhancing productivity and service delivery.
*Labour Margin Management: Take ownership of labour cost control, meeting financial targets without compromising quality.
*Service Planning: Ensure effective planning and execution to meet service and fulfilment deadlines.
*Performance Monitoring: Maintain and exceed key performance metrics, including:
*On-time dispatch: 99%
*In-full order processing: 99%
*Stock accuracy: 99%
*Labour %
*Health & Safety: Promote and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment.
*5S Implementation: Embed 5S principles into warehouse operations to maintain order and efficiency.
*Reporting: Provide detailed, data-driven reports to the COO and board, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
About You You’ll bring extensive experience and a proven track record in warehouse or fulfilment management, combined with exceptional leadership and analytical skills.
Requirements: *At least 10 years of experience in warehouse/fulfilment management.
*Strong expertise in team and process management.
*Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding key operational KPIs.
*Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
*Valid driving licence.
