Job Description:
Financial Controller | Nottingham City | £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus | Office Based
As Financial Controller for this profitable business based in the heart of Nottingham City Centre you will be responsible for overseeing the full financial operations of the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Managing a small finance team and reporting into a highly experienced Finance Director this is a great step for anyone looking for a new challenge.
The role will be full time office based, but with flexible start/finish times, however they will cover the cost of parking in Nottingham to ensure you aren’t out of pocket.
Key Responsibilities:
*Financial Reporting - Preparing monthly management accounts and subsequent board pack.
*Budgeting and Forecasting - Lead annual budget process and monitor performance.
*Cash Flow Management - Ensure payment process if followed to approve supplier payments, as well as updating weekly cash flow forecast.
*Financial Analysis - Track project performance and conduct financial analysis.
*Payroll - Review and reconcile payroll.
*Team Leadership - Manage a small but experience finance team of 4.
*Systems - Improves systems and drive automation.
Key requirements:
*Fully ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified
*Ability to travel to Nottingham 5 days a week
*Leadership experience
*Ability to partner senior stakeholders and bounce ideas with the Finance Director
Package:
*£60,000 - £70,000
*£6,000 Car Allowance
*5% Bonus
*Family Health Insurance
*Parking Permit
*Generous pension increasing with service
