Finance Manager
Location: Cheltenham / Malvern
Role to be based at either location.

Are you an enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing individual with a solid background in financial management and accounting? Reed Accountancy is on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to lead our client’s finance department and report directly to the Directors.
What You’ll Do:
*Finance Department Management: Oversee the finance department, ensuring accurate financial processes across the organisation.
*Financial Reporting: Prepare year-end accounts, maintain personal account records, and liaise with accountants.
*Payroll and Compliance: Manage payroll, ensure compliance with pensions and PAYE, and handle payroll software tasks.
*Banking and Transactions: Manage bank statements, direct debits, standing orders, and handle payment runs and reconciliations.
*Training and Support: Train and assist staff in financial operations and software.
What We’re Looking For:
*Financial Management and Accounting Expertise: Proven experience in accounting and maintaining detailed records.
*Organisational and Leadership Skills: Strong organisational abilities, leadership experience, and proficiency in managing and training staff.
*Proficiency in Financial Software: Skilled in using financial software like Xero.
