Assistant Accountant
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Location: Wrexham
Sector: Construction

This position would suit an individual with all round experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase / sales ledger. Candidates applying should ideally have their AAT qualification or an equivalent accountancy qualification.
Duties & Responsibilities
*Answering purchase/sales ledger queries
*Reconciling supplier statements and payments
*Reconciling bank balances
*Assisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control etc.)
*Weekly external payroll payments and journals
*Prepare monthly and annual ledger reconciliations
*Intercompany journals and recharges
*Allocation of expenses and credit cards

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
*Have experience in a similar role
*Be AAT qualified
*Sage 50 experience would be desirable
*Experience working within the construction industry would be desirable
*Experience working in an SME would be desirable
*Have strong interpersonal skills
