Job Description:
production environment? We’re searching for a skilled Production Manager who will take charge of my clients production department at the site, driving quality, efficiency, and innovation. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that we meet and exceed the standards our customers expect, in a safe, organized, and forward-thinking environment. This is an opportunity to bring your experience in managing people, processes, and projects to a team that values initiative and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
*Champion Health & Safety: Cultivate a safe, supportive work environment by ensuring that all safety targets are consistently met.
*Drive Continuous Improvement: Utilize your LEAN expertise to streamline our systems and processes, implementing effective change across the production area.
*Inspire and Develop the Team: Foster a culture of growth by identifying training needs, supporting team development, and planning for future leadership.
*Ensure Quality Excellence: Maintain strict adherence to ISO and GMP standards, ensuring that every product meets our high standards.
*Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and HR to drive unified results, foster a team-focused environment, and celebrate our successes.
*Make Strategic Decisions: Track KPIs, set targets, and strategize to reach new heights in efficiency, productivity, and quality.
*Support Customer Engagement: Be an ambassador for our production values during customer visits and audits, consistently demonstrating our commitment to excellence.
*Optimize Costs and Processes: Manage budgets, seek cost-saving opportunities, and ensure production stays lean and efficient.
Qualifications and Experience We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills:
*Proven experience in managing a fast-paced, complex production department.
*Dynamic, hands-on leader with a track record of successful decision-making, problem-solving, and team-building.
*Knowledge of GMP standards and experience with Lean methodologies or Six Sigma.
*Skilled in computer systems, including production software.
Nice to Have:
*Higher education in a relevant field (e.g., Degree, HNC/HND).
*Experience at a senior managerial level within a production setting.
*Experience in electronic assembly or medical device production and knowledge of SAP.
