Job Title: Pre-Commissioning Engineer – Water Treatment
Location: Camberley
Salary/Package – 34,000K – 48,000K (dependant on experience), Van & Fuel Card, 33 Holidays including Banks, OT & Call out available, & more
About the Role
The Pre-Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all water treatment systems are tested, verified, and prepared for commissioning according to project specifications and standards. This role involves close collaboration with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that water treatment plants and related equipment operate efficiently before being handed over for full operation.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform pre-commissioning activities, including system flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, and equipment verification.
*Carry out chemical dosing and other treatments to condition water systems prior to operation.
*Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, verifying that all pre-commissioning works meet project and regulatory requirements.
*Provide technical reports, system drawings, and test results to commissioning teams and project managers.
*Work closely with commissioning teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure a smooth handover process.
*Identify and resolve any technical issues during the pre-commissioning phase, collaborating with engineering teams as needed.
*Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the pre-commissioning process.
Must have or hold
*3-5 years of experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, or operational roles within water treatment or a similar process industry.
*BSRIA
*Strong knowledge of water treatment systems, including filtration, desalination, reverse osmosis, chemical treatment, and related equipment.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to document and report findings clearly.
