Are you a newly qualified or qualified accountant with a keen interest in VAT or tax?
Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll play a vital role in establishing VAT processes across the group.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with VAT compliance, transaction reviews, and supporting system enhancements, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in tax.
Your Role:
*Support the group’s VAT registration process and ensure compliance.
*Help set up finance systems, streamline processes, and provide training to users.
*Work with the Finance Director to monitor legislative changes and ensure accuracy in VAT treatment.
*Produce and submit VAT returns, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
*Gain exposure to partial exemptions and VAT recovery strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with an interest in VAT or tax.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
*Confident with Excel and finance systems.
*A proactive mindset, eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
What’s on Offer:
*Competitive salary (DOE).
*Flexible, hybrid working to suit your lifestyle (office bases in Tetbury and Corsham).
*Mentorship from an experienced Finance Director and support from a collaborative team.
Thanks for considering an application. We do receive a high volume of applicants and as such we aren’t unfortunately always able to respond to unsuccessful applicants. As such, if we haven’t responded to your application on this occasion then your application has not been successful.
Quinton Davies will not discriminate on unlawful grounds. We are committed to equal opportunity and diversity.
