Overview
The role of the Human Resources Coordinator is to support the HR team in the provision of day-to-day HR management in accordance with Brookfield’s Human Resources policies and procedures, employment law and best practice. The ideal candidate will be someone that thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment, where your positive ’can do’, entrepreneurial approach will be essential.
The Human Resources (HR) team consists of 3 key streams: HR Operations, HR Business Partnering and Talent Attraction. The HR Coordinator will be part of the HR Business Partner team providing HR administration support across their client groups. The role will work closely with all streams, HR Operations and Talent Attraction, and will have exposure to the full employee life cycle.
Responsibilities *Support the Head of HR for Europe to prepare draft reports and PowerPoint presentations.
*Coordinate administration aspects of leave of absence matters across the region, including preparing Occupational Health referrals on behalf of the team.
*Support with reporting and analytics to drive people improvements.
*Coordinate the administration elements of international relocations using our provider system and ensuring relevant internal stakeholders are involved.
*Working alongside the Manager, HR, to comply with immigration requirements across jurisdictions and coordinate obtaining permission to work in the UK and Europe.
*Support the Manager, HR, with the administration of the Company’s Learning and Development initiatives including scheduling and payment of providers.
*Prepare and plan for cyclical HR initiatives, including the talent and compensation review processes.
*Support the team with employee relations issues as they arise.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes, recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
*Help execute any action plans for each business group.
Skills and Experience Requirements: *Previous experience in a similar role (1-2 years),
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal,
*Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
*Team-oriented; commitment to working in a positive and collaborative environment,
*Highly curious, proactively seeks out a range of opinions and perspectives,
*Hard-working, flexible and committed to continuous development,
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise the highest level of discretion,
*Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,
*Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities,
*Ambition to become an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
