Job Details:
- Position: Nursery Practitioner

- Type: Full-Time - Day to day, short term, long term and permanent roles available
About the Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work with the teacher to assist the children on a 1:1 basis or in groups. Some may have challenging behaviours, so your role will involve providing essential support, encouragement, and guidance to children of all abilities to thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class Teacher to help facilitate the childrens learning and development
- Setting the classroom ready for lessons
- Listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
- Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
- Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the overall well-being of the children
Requirements:
- Nursery Nurse Qualification
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
