Job Description:
Title - Accounts Assistant - Treasury - Temp to Perm
Location - City/Docklands
£35-£40K
The role: Main responsibilities are for making ad hoc bank payments, logging bank payments and receipts onto the IT system and reconciling various bank and loan accounts on a regular basis.
Duties:
*Preparing bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
*Preparing loan reconciliations for bank loan facilities
*Post bank receipts and payments into the IT accounting software system
*Maintain multiple cashbooks for different legal entities
*Making payments via the internet banking systems for different banks
*Assisting the finance team with the monthly project funding drawdown procedures
*Assisting sales team with review and transfer of reservation funds to solicitors and purchasers
*Preparation of weekly cash report
*Providing basic support to the Head of Business Planning (processing forms, bank lodgements and withdrawals)
*Extracting copies of purchase ledger invoices from purchase ledger files for monthly drawdowns
*Posting purchase ledger invoices onto system
*Uploading information to HMRC tax portal
*Photocopying and filing
Requirements:
*Be available early January 2025 to start the role
*Have treasury and reconciliations experience
*Excellent attention to detail
*Strong communication skills in both written and verbal
