Job Description:
Job Opportunity: Surveillance Analyst (12-Month Contract)
Location: London
Day Rate: £562.49 via umbrella
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct post-trade, electronic communications, and telephone surveillance.
*Review exceptions from surveillance tools, escalating where necessary.
*Provide written reports on market abuse risks such as IPOs and mergers.
*Ensure best execution for clients through trade surveillance.
*Develop and present analysis on trading activities and market manipulation.
*Maintain and enhance surveillance controls and procedures.
*Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance.
*Attend business committees and provide effective contributions.
*Lead internal and external audit reviews.
*Conduct daily sanctions screening and risk analysis.
Requirements:
*Experience with Trading Hub and Bloomberg TCA.
*Knowledge of global equity and fixed income derivatives.
*Strong understanding of MNPI and market abuse risks.
*Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
