Job Description:
Our client is a prestigious school based in Central Cambridge. They are currently looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to support their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role which would suit a strong administrator who has an interest in finance.
Main duties will include:
*Purchasing and procurement
*Processing school fees
*Prepare budget reports
*Petty cash management
*Manage school charity accounts
*Monthly reporting on utility usage
*Financial management relating to school trips and events
*Any other admin support as required, including occasionally cover reception
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience in a busy office environment
*Ideally some experience within finance or highly numerate and good analytical skills
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
*Previous experience within a school is desirable but not essential
*Ability to work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
