Exit Ready Origination Director
East/West Midlands
C 90k pa + bonus
My client is an entrepreneurial boutique, and part of a larger international group, that is seeking an "Exit Ready" Director to join the business.
Exit ready, is a division that works in partnership with the M&A team to support businesses on their journey to a successful Exit. You will meet with, and provide entrepreneurs with guidance, support them in prepping their business for sale, guiding them through pre-deal strategy.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced operator, who has worked in an SME environment, working with entrepreneurial business owners (potentially as a consultant) with a proven track record of M&A, exit planning, and generation of new business opportunities
This is a hybrid role, that sits between business development, origination and having had hands on expertise to shape change within SME, OMB environments and understanding the challenges that may come along.
You will
*Build a network and support the local teams with attracting entrepreneurs to engage in an Exit Ready project and/or Sale process;
*Recruit specialist consultants for Exit Ready projects; optimising companies to be sale-ready and to achieve a maximised valuation for the sale
*Business Development: connect with SME entrepreneurs, engage them in meaningful conversations about business growth and how to prepare their business to be ready for selling;
*Help business owners plan their future and provide guidance during the last phase of entrepreneurship;
*Continuous improvement, self-development and recording conversations accurately.
*Arranging focused events
The successful candidate must display
*Extensive experience working with entrepreneurs in the SME space
*Must have excellent communication skills
*Must have a passion for entrepreneurship and is willing to continuously improve and develop business;
*A proven business development track record
*Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
