Job Description:
Role – Production Planner position
Location – Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – £29,000 – £35,000 per annum
Our client is a reputable manufacturers who is looking to expand their planning team. Candidates ideally have worked in a similar position and will be looking to progress within a well-respected and professional team
Main duties will include –
• Being responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules.
• You will be responsible to identify potential risks, assessing their impact and generating progress reports.
• You will be working closely alongside the management team to ensure the smooth process
• Maintaining and regularly updating in house schedules
• Keeping project resources on track
• Providing regular updates to staffing and customers alike
• Liaising with all resources to achieve goals and objectives
• Managing conflicting requirements alongside project staff
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• IT Skills – must include word, excel, email and be familiar with MRP systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Exceptional time management with the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Positive attitude and the desire to learn
