Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Redditch, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across financial processes. ?? Salary: £75,000 to £85,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Benefits
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
*Oversee the preparation and management of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
*Manage and control monthly and year-end closing processes, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
*Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior leadership to ensure business objectives are met.
*Ensure the integrity of financial data and maintain strong internal controls across all areas of the business.
*Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure the company’s financial health.
*Develop and lead a small finance team, providing coaching, support, and development opportunities.
*Collaborate with other departments to drive improvements in financial processes and operational efficiency.
*Maintain effective relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
Key Essentials of the Financial Controller:
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
*Proven experience in financial control within a manufacturing or similar environment
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software systems
