MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
*Attend pre shift team meetings, discuss workload and targets for the day ahead
*Report any issues which may occur during shift back to team leaders
*Working in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment
*Quality checking and inspecting all products, checking for any issues and faults
*Meet companies’ high standard and deadlines
*Picking, preparing and quality assurance of items for orders and dispatch
*Labelling and assisting couriers and customers collecting from the warehouse
*Assisting with receiving goods in and checking for quality and quantity
*Perform manual handling and heavy lifting duties throughout the day
*Able to work as part of a team and/or individually to meet company high standard
*General housekeeping duties, ensure workspace is kept clean and safe at all times
*As Warehouse Operative you will complete stock checks and cycle counts updating the system accurately.
*As a Warehouse Operative you will be working with your team to maintain a clean, safe working area.
The Person:
*Warehouse Experience
*Manufacturing understanding
*Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and preferably has used warehousing software previously
*Good verbal communication skills
*Strong work ethic and team player
*Ability to take & follow instructions
