Counterbalance Driver
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (1-hour lunch break)
Weekly hours: 40 hours
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
Our client has partnered with brewers to create a more efficient and sustainable keg supply chain. The company’s innovative approach involves sharing high-quality branded kegs instead of using difficult-to-recycle single-use plastic kegs, reducing the distance empty kegs travel.
We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Driver to join our team and support the busy operations of the brewery industry.
Responsibilities:
*Operating a Counterbalance
*Heavy lifting
*Loading and unloading beer kegs from lorries
*Sorting kegs based on size, re-palletising, and packaging accordingly using shrink wrap, etc.
*Re-sizing and re-palletizing kegs in the required packaging, such as shrink-wrap
Person fit:
*Must have experience operating a Counterbalance with an in-date license
*Physically fit and able to repetitively lift kegs
After 12 weeks of work, you will be entitled to 25 days of holiday, plus 8 bank holidays.
