Meraki Talent’s market leading client based in the heart of Glasgow city centre are looking to add an Accountant to the current team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global forward-thinking firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in line with agreed deliverables.
  
Key duties of the role include:
  
*Preparation and production of monthly and quarterly management reporting based on client needs / requirements.
*Preparation and consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS / FRS 102 standards.
*Supporting the team with financial analysis and complex reporting.
*Provide detailed financial analysis as required by clients.
*Preparation of VAT returns.
*Liaising with external auditors during Visits.
*Identifying and implementing process improvements around month end reporting.
*Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
  
Experience required:
  
*ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem solving skills.
*Comfortable working to challenging month & quarter end deadlines.
*Strong knowledge of financial statement and accounting for transactions.
