We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our reputable engineering client in Peterborough.
Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced engineer, preferably from the food sector, to join their successful operation to contribute to the quality of our service. Working with an established team of dynamic Project Engineers, dealing with "whole life cycle" project management & engineering within the food processing industry. This role involves travel and working abroad for sometimes up to 6 weeks, approximately 60% is office based and 40% working abroad.
The ideal candidate will have:
HNC/HND qualification in engineering
Ideally 3 years industry/field experience
Good understanding of machinery processes and design - logical mind
A good balance of pre-engineering experience and "hands-on" engineering aptitude Dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible approach and willing to travel (at times on extended durations)
Excellent Commercial awareness
Excellent people skills and clear communicator with the ability to form strong customer relationships
Computer literate with working knowledge of the following:-
Microsoft Project & Office range of programs
Ideally AutoCAD conversant to support generation of P&ID’s, Layout modification and drawing interpretation when on-site
